ABOUT MEGHAN

Associate Attorney

Meghan Moorhouse (who goes by Meg) joined Brown Carrington in 2025 as an associate attorney in our Lexington office, bringing a strong background in litigation and a deep commitment to client advocacy.

Meg earned her J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C., in 2021. While in law school, she co-founded the institution’s first sanctioned LGBTQ Law School Association, reflecting her dedication to inclusion and community building within the legal field.

After passing the D.C. Uniform Bar Exam, Meg began her legal career with Brand Woodward Law, where she focused on federal criminal defense. She later moved to Louisville, Kentucky, to serve as a public defender with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. There, she managed a demanding caseload of over 250 clients and appeared in court daily, gaining invaluable experience in advocacy and courtroom procedure.

In 2025, Meg relocated to Lexington. Joining Brown Carrington marks an exciting new chapter as she brings her litigation experience into the family law field—an area she has long been passionate about.

Meg is excited to be a part of the Lexington legal community and is committed to providing compassionate, skilled representation to families navigating complex legal matters.
