Jill Massey

Atlanta-based Brown Carrington attorney, Jill Massey, always knew she wanted to practice law. A trial attorney at heart, family law was not initially on her radar, she admits.

“I envisioned myself practicing criminal defense – I felt it was the area where I could really make a difference in a system that doesn’t always play fair.”

But when the largest family law firm in the country wanted Jill on their team, she decided to take a chance – And the rest is history! She quickly rose in the ranks, consistently receiving recognition as a top performer year after year. Having dedicated her entire career to the practice family law prior to joining Brown Carrington, Jill brings a wealth of knowledge and a honed skillset that distinguishes her amongst her peers.

Jill has called Georgia home for over a decade, but make no mistake, she bleeds Kentucky blue! She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in finance and business management. Her background in finance/business affords Jill a distinct advantage as a family law practitioner.

Jill’s passion for advocacy isn’t all business, though. She prioritizes the ‘human element’ as an essential component to fostering the attorney-client relationship.
