Where Courtroom Knowledge Meets Client Care

ABOUT HILLARY

associate attorney

Hillary is an attorney at Brown Carrington, PLLC whose practice focuses on the full spectrum of family law, including divorce, complex child custody arrangements, and family law appeals. Her background working directly alongside judges at both the trial and appellate levels gives her a distinctive edge — she understands how courts think, and she puts that insight to work for her clients every day.

A proud Northern Kentucky native, Hillary earned her BA in Political Science from NKU in just three years before going on to graduate from NKU Chase College of Law in 2016. During her undergraduate years, she was a member of the Track and Field Team and Gamma Phi Beta sorority. In law school, she joined the Negotiation Team and participated in the Children’s Law Clinic in Covington, KY — an early sign of the commitment to family law that would define her career.

After law school, Hillary served as a Staff Attorney for family law Judge Lisa Hart Morgan across Scott, Bourbon, and Woodford Counties, where she drafted orders, researched cases, and reviewed daily dockets. That experience led to an opportunity with Judge Glenn Acree at the Kentucky Court of Appeals, where she developed a deep passion for appellate work. Reading briefs, drafting opinions, and working through complex, intellectually challenging cases gave Hillary a love of the law that she carries into every client representation today.
