Stephanie A. Dietz has practiced family law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 1994 and is widely recognized for her experience, leadership, and commitment to both her clients and community. She focuses her practice on domestic relations matters throughout Northern Kentucky and has built a reputation for providing strategic, compassionate guidance during some of life’s most challenging transitions.
Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from University of Kentucky and her law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has received numerous professional recognitions, including being named one of Cincy Magazine’s Leading Lawyers since 2009 and earning recognition as a Super Lawyer. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Stephanie previously served as President of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and has remained actively involved in the organization throughout her career.
In addition to her legal practice, Stephanie currently serves as State Representative for Kentucky’s 65th House District, representing portions of Covington, Edgewood, Fort Wright, Park Hills, and Crestview Hills in Kenton County. She serves as Chair of the Budget Review Subcommittee on Justice, Public Safety & Judiciary and sits on several legislative committees involving judiciary, families and children, appropriations and revenue, and administrative regulations. She also chaired the Kentucky Task Force on Air Mobility and Aviation Economic Development during the 2025 interim.
Stephanie completed the Emerging Legislative Leaders Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and has received numerous awards for her work in the Kentucky Legislature.
A lifelong Kentuckian, Stephanie is deeply involved in her community and has long been active in her parish, St. Pius X, as well as many volunteer organizations throughout Northern Kentucky.
Stephanie and her husband, Jim, have two sons, Avery and Alex. Outside of her practice and public service, she values time with her family and community.
