Zachary Ousley

Zach was born and raised in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He graduated from Prestonsburg High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies from Morehead State University where he also studied abroad through interning in Canadian Parliament. Zach returned to his roots to attend Appalachian School of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate in May 2013.

With 13 years of experience in law, Zach is a seasoned Attorney known for precision, dedication, and a deep commitment to justice. Over the course of his career, he’s contributed to high-impact litigation, including making published Kentucky Supreme Court case law that facilitates the adoption of children who have spent too long languishing in state’s custody.

Zach, never content, relocated to Louisville in October 2024 and decided to try to become an urban dweller. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two sons, Alek and Atlas, along with working out, and attempting to raise a garden in his backyard.
