Jake A. Gonzalez

As the first generation of his family to be born in the United States, he wanted to be an attorney from a young age and was encouraged by his family. He attended Florida International University with a degree in English with certificates in Rhetoric and Writing as well as Pre-Law. He continued onward attending the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Jake clerked alongside a State Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida as well as a Federal Judge in the Southern District of Miami.

Prior to joining Brown Carrington, PLLC, Jake practiced as a malpractice defense attorney and worked as an associate at an elite divorce trial boutique. He believes in strong communication with his clients to focus on getting the best solution in each unique circumstance.

In his spare time, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, fishing, and reading.
