Lana Schroeder

Lana K. Schroeder is an associate attorney at Brown Carrington, where she focuses her practice on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, and cases involving child abuse and neglect. With a background in immigration law, Lana brings a unique and compassionate perspective to her family law work, particularly in cases involving complex family dynamics and high emotional stakes.

Before transitioning to family law, Lana spent three years practicing immigration law, where she advocated for clients navigating highly sensitive legal challenges. That experience, combined with her understanding of the pressures today’s families face, fuels her commitment to helping parents find stability and clarity during life’s most difficult transitions.

Lana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and History from Indiana University – Bloomington and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Louisville Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
