Samuel Crawford

Sam is an Associate Attorney at Brown Carrington, PLLC, based in the firm’s Indianapolis office. As a first-generation college graduate and the first attorney in his family, Sam’s passion for helping others has been the driving force behind his legal career.

Sam graduated with honors from Indiana University, earning a degree in Law and Public Policy. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Maurer School of Law, where he was selected to serve as a judicial intern for the Vanderburgh County Superior Court. In this role, he gained invaluable insight into judicial decision-making and trial procedures, further solidifying his commitment to advocacy and litigation.

Before joining Brown Carrington, PLLC, Sam was an attorney at a prominent estate planning and elder law firm. There he gained valuable experience in estate planning and elder law, handling matters such as guardianships, protective orders, and other contested legal issues.

In 2025 he completed the Indiana Trial Advocacy Skills College, an intensive “boot camp” where attorneys refine their courtroom skills by learning from some of Indiana’s most distinguished trial attorneys and judges. This experience has enhanced his ability to advocate effectively on behalf of his clients in the courtroom.

Sam approaches each case with dedication, empathy, and a strategic mindset, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout the process. He prioritizes clear communication, creative problem-solving, and strong advocacy to help clients achieve the best possible outcome for their future.

Outside of his legal practice, Sam enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. An avid sports enthusiast, he frequently plays basketball with colleagues and can often be found cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana Pacers
